Dr. Richard Ang is highly skilled in root canal treatment (Endodontics) and the management of dental pain. Hegraduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He later obtained hisspecialty training in Endodontics with a Master of Dental Surgery from the NationalUniversity of Singapore in 2004. He was also admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2004. Dr. Ang is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and a member of the Singapore Dental Association.

Dr Ang practiced endodontics at the National Dental Centre. As a recognition of excellent service and uncompromising care, Dr Ang was awarded the Singhealth Excellent Health Service award (Gold) in 2007. Dr Ang has lectured and presented locally and internationally at the 2007 International Federation of Endodontist conference in Vancouver, Canada. Always striving to improve and update his skill, Dr Ang regularly attends international and local endodontic conferences. Dr Ang is also an active member of the Singapore Endodontic Society. He has helped to conduct hands on endodontic courses to contribute to the local and international professional dental community. He is currently a clinical lecturer to the dental undergraduates at the National University Hospital for root canal treatment (endodontics).
